The Dapper Darling was created because of my inherent need to shop, for myself and for others. I love to give gifts and it is important to me that they are unique and exciting. I have put this site together to share my fabulous finds with the world. You will notice that many of our products are handmade; I myself love art and am honored to feature these artists and their beautiful craftsmanship from around the globe.
We are based in bella Vicenza, Italy. I attended school in the enchanting Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia studying business and art and am now located in Northern Italy. You will find that many of our goods are influenced by my location creating a sophisticated mix of southern charm, contemporary art and old world craftsmanship.
Gift giving is an art in itself and can be a daunting task for our busy modern lives. We give you an opportunity to find “elegant goods and fabulous gifts” without combing chaotic malls and stores for hours and hours. To put the cherry on top we are happy to offer elegant wrapping with card included so you need not fret, your gift will be as well dressed as you are.
